Ease of access from car park to reception. The Christmas tree and decorations were beautiful. Friendly, receptive, informative staff. The Blonde receptionist at 15.12 was lovely! Very welcoming. Checked us in smoothly. It was a surprise to find we had been upgraded free of extra charge. The suite was clean. We rang down for a milk alternative. A lovely receptionist came up with it. She was so friendly. Both ladies were Lovely. The restaurant staff were very attentive and welcoming. Lucy helped us with the menu as I’m lactose intolerant. The chef adjusted the roast chicken meal. It was delicious. As was the brisket my partner thoroughly enjoyed. The desserts were lovely too. Thank you

The property was in the centre of Glasgow so everything was either within walking distance or a quick uber. From entering the hotel and checking in the staff were really friendly, helpful and welcoming, we thought the welcome cookies were a lovely touch! The rooms were lovely, clean and had plenty of space. Throughout the hotel there was a lovely fragranced smell which I thought was lovely! The pool was lovely, could be used as single, couple or family. There was a hot tub in the pool area too and sun loungers which was a nice little added extra! Over all as a couple we loved the hotel and would definitely be back.

The only observation I would make is the inefficiency at the check in purely being caused by the check in staff also having to take bags ( when travellers check in early before the room is ready ) taking them away from their principal job of checking in guess, causing unnecessary queuing. Simply solved by having a porter on hand to take the baggage to the storage area and not the check in staff who have their own job to do. This is not a criticism of any of the staff but the management for not observing this issue. The whole experience bar this was excellent.

Stayed for my nieces 14th birthday treat and the staff were fantastic at organising banners balloons and chocolates for the room for us arriving. It was clean, comfortable and the location is so handy for city centre. The one thing that let it down was the pool - it was absolutely roasting, the water was too hot, there was no air con, the paint was flaking off the underside of the stairs and the steam room was out of order. We visited 7 years ago and it didn’t look like any work had been done on it since then so we didn’t stay in long. It could do with upgrading.

Linda

Room was very comfortable, the bed too and a good size, the bathroom was spotless with a good bath and shower. The TV well placed opposite the bed. There was desk space too to allow work at my computer and ample wardrobe space for a short stay. The fitness suite was good, although it was difficult to swim in a busy pool. The self service breakfast was plentiful. The location was perfect for my needs, with a 5 minute walk from the bus station and close to the programme I had planned in Glasgow.
